It's really to bad that The Socerer is so underated. But it is so wonderful for lighting and conjuring on stage. It does not have that dreamy and tranquil effect that Iolanthe has in it;s music, but it does have some wonderful moments, The curate's song "Time was when Love and I Were Well Aquainted" comes to mind. I just wished it was done more often..... Thanks
This song is absolutely gorgeous. If Sorcerer were performed more, it would be considered one of Sullivan's greatest.
